BaRFTY Presents.... NFTYflix!

Join us for a fun-filled weekend in Baton Rouge, LA!! BaRFTY, the Temple Youth Group (TYG) in Baton Rouge, has planned an incredible weekend for us, with programming diving deep into Judaism and the media. We'll reunite with old friends, make new ones, celebrate Shabbat, explore Baton Rouge, elect a new NFTY Southern Regional Board, and say goodbye to our graduating seniors! We hope to see y'all there!!!

This event is open to Jewish high-school students in the NFTY Southern Region: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Florida Panhandle.

  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.
  • Registration after March 23 is on a space available basis only.

Travel is coordinated with the other teens from your congregation by your local youth group advisors and/or chaperones. Please be in touch with them for information about how your youth group will be traveling to/from the event. Per NFTY's policy, all drivers must be over the age of 21 and teens may not drive themselves to, from or during the event- this includes teens from the New Orleans area..

A finalized packing list will be included in the confirmation email, however you can expect to bring the following: -Sleeping bag/pillow/towels/toiletries -Nice clothes for Friday night (no jeans or flip-flops). You will be able to change clothes when you arrive. -Casual clothes for the rest of the weekend (including gym shoes, pajamas, etc) -A swimsuit for our Saturday night party -Money to buy NFTY merchandise at our shuk (store) -A donation item to be donated to a local organization (TBA)

NFTY is not responsible for your personal belongings. Please do not bring expensive electronics or jewelry to this event.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through March 17, 2016 – 90%Through March 24, 2016 – 75%Through March 31, 2016 – 50%

After March 31, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after March 31, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
