NFTY Southern Fall Conclave: God, Sweet Tea, and the SEC: Join us November 13-15, 2015 in Jackson, MS for NFTY Southern Fall Conclave! Spend the weekend hanging out with old friends, meeting new ones, celebrating Shabbat, and exploring what it means to be a Southern Jew. We can’t wait to see you there!

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.


  • Meals are included in the cost of the event.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

Travel is coordinated with the other teens from your congregation by your local youth group advisors and/or chaperones. Please be in touch with them for information about how your youth group will be traveling to/from the event. Per NFTY's policy, all drivers must be over the age of 21 and teens may not drive themselves to, from or during the event -- this includes teens from the Jackson area.

A finalized packing list will be included in the confirmation email, however you can expect to bring the following:

-Toiletries-Nice clothes for Friday night (Slacks and a button up for men -- coat optional. A dress or nice pants for ladies). You will be able to change at the synagogue.-Casual clothes for the rest of the weekend-Gift for host-family (optional)-Money to buy NFTY merchandise at our shuk (store)

Participants are expected to participate in the entire event. Please contact Becci Jacobs, NFTY Regional Advisor, with any questions or for more information. We do not prorate registration fees for any registrants. Due to commitments for food, beverage, supplies and other event costs, our fees are set at a full package rate.

Confirmation emails will be sent out to teens and parents no later than a week before the event. This confirmation email will contain a final packing list as well as any additional information about the event.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through October 22, 2015 – 90% of the registration fees paidThrough October 29, 2015 – 75% of the registration fees paidThrough November 5, 2015 – 50% of the registration fees paidAfter November 5, 2015 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after November 5, 2015 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to nftyregistrar@urj.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
