NFTY-SO SummerFest

Kickoff to the School Year! Participants will engage in interest-based track programming, have a pool party, and get to go off camp for a Saturday night BIG FUN!

  • Meet new people and see your friends from NFTY, Camp, Israel and Mitzvah Corps
  • Wrestle with hot topics and challenge your assumptions during interactive teen-led programs
  • Reconnect with your NFTY friends after a summer apart
  • Choose from different tracks based on your interests, including social justice, Israel, inclusion/membership, and songleading
  • Enjoy a fun off camp activity

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.

  • Meals included in the cost of the event.
  • Registration will be accepted after August 15, 2018 on a space-available basis.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.
  • All fees are in US Dollars
Travel is coordinated with the other teens from your congregation by your local youth group advisors and/or chaperones. Please be in touch with them for information about how your youth group will be traveling to/from the event. If you are not sure who to contact in your community, please email Per NFTY's policy, all drivers must be over the age of 21 and teens may not drive themselves to, from or during the event.

This event is open to teens in 8th-12th grades. A pre-event email will be sent out about a week before the event after the regular registration deadline.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through August 9, 2018 – 90%Through August 16, 2018 – 75%Through August 23, 2018 – 50%

After August 23, 2018 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after August 23, 2018 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid. Please note that we cannot offer credits in exchange of refunds.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
